Arnold Family Chiropractic is pleased to announce that Dr. Heidi Arnold-Burr, Dr. Meagen Mateialona, & Dr. Sarah Sterling have been hand selected to join Covenant Healthcare Partners, Inc.
Dr. Heidi Arnold-Burr owner of Arnold Family Chiropractic, is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic. She is an Auburn, Michigan native. Dr. Heidi earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious New York Chiropractic College. She graduated in 2007 and is a member of Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. She is National Board Certified in Parts I, II, III, IV, and Physiotherapy. She is a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association, Internation Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is a Work Safe Doctor.
After graduation she opened a successful practice in St. Charles, Michigan where she continues to practice today. In 2016 she built a second location in Freeland to expand Chiropractic care within the Saginaw County Region. With her love of people and the community combined with the desire to help others Dr. Heidi was honored with the Business of the Year award in 2009. Dr. Heidi trained in Utica, NY and is experienced in Manipulation under Anesthesia
Dr. Heidi takes pride in treating patients not as a number but as a member of our extended Chiropractic family. This family-focused approach puts the patient first. She creates a safe, positive environment with effective treatment for every member of your family from newborns to seniors. She uses the "whole person" approach addressing not only the spine but the entire musculoskeletal system, including extremities. She works directly with all of the Doctors and our Licensed Massage Therapists to ensure a team approach to the best care possible.
Dr. Heidi will give you the education and tools such as ergonomics and exercises to help you achieve optimal wellness and overcome pain. She utilizes the very best hands on techniques and physiotherapy procedures. Dr. Heidi understands the importance of continuing education and staying current with new techniques and technology. She works closely with several medical specialists in order to provide a more comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to optimal health.
Our family focused atmosphere continues as her husband Richard Burr is the Office Manager and Insurance Billing Specialist. As a mother of an son, Carter, Dr. Heidi cares greatly about the health and well-being of children. When she is not busy at the office she enjoys spending time with her family and experiencing new adventures.
Dr. Meagen Mateialona is a Michigan native and chiropractor who graduated with a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA. in 2011. While pursuing her Doctorate of Chiropractic, Dr. Meagen also received her Masters in Sport Injury Management from Life University. She received her Bachelor's degree in Health Science in 2005 from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan.
Dr. Meagen became acquainted with chiropractic care after receiving her Bachelor's degree; always wanting to serve in healthcare field she was trying to discover what field she wanted to pursue. After speaking and shadowing with a chiropractor in Michigan she fell in love with the philosophy and the lifestyle of chiropractic. She had never seen so many happy people in an office, and this persuaded her to move down to Marietta Georgia to pursue her Doctorate degree.
Dr. Meagen received extensive hands-on chiropractic training, involving numerous techniques, functional neurology, sensory-motor re-integration, nutrition, and case management in regards to preconception, pregnancy, post-partum, pediatrics, and adulthood. Her patients have ranged from newborns, pregnant mommies, toddlers, adults, and the elderly. Her excitement for chiropractic is centered on her love of children, pregnant mothers and their families. She is passionate about teaching mothers about natural birthing and the important role chiropractic care plays throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Dr. Meagen has three wonderful children. She is passionate about educating more women and families on natural options and holistic and alternative care.
Dr. Meagen is a life-long learner and continues to educate on holistic and alternative options for families who want to improve their health regardless of their pain and optimize their lifestyle to their full health potentials. The mission and philosophy of Dr. Meagen is to provide education, support and chiropractic care to individuals and families in order to help them engage in their own health and wellness so that they too can reach abundance and joy through their own health and vitality. It's never to late to start Chiropractic care, and Dr. Meagen encourages and welcomes patients of all ages.
Dr. Meagen has been involved with the International Chiropractic Association, and International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Meagen has also written articles on pregnancy and chiropractic featured on Pregnancy Beat. When she is not being a chiropractor or mom of her beautiful children, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling when she can, and staying active.
Dr. Sarah Sterling was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa and the surrounding Quad Cities area. She received her BA in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale, IL). After seeing and personally benefiting from the effects of chiropractic care, she enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, IA). During her time at Palmer College of Chiropractic she joined the American Chiropractic Association, and went to Washington D.C. to advocate for government laws regarding health reform and chiropractic. Her studies then took her to Vietnam for a Clinic Abroad program dedicated to sharing chiropractic care across the globe. She is National Board Certified in Parts I, II, III, I and Physiotherapy.
Dr. Sarah is a compassionate chiropractor and her patients benefit from her specialization in Sacral occipital technique, Thompson, Diversified, Activator techniques and cranial adjusting. She recognizes that each person has individual needs and uses an individualistic approach on what each person needs to get better. Dr. Sarah recognizes how being in pain can disrupt the balance of everyday life for an individual and their family. She will do her absolute best to reinstate that balance, reducing pain as quickly as possible, improving function, helping patients feel better- and doing so in a natural way. Her passion is to continue her lifelong dedication to bring chiropractic care to her community and to teach people how to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Jaclyn received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University near St. Louis, MO after attending Saginaw Valley State University where she obtained her bachelors degree. She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) for Parts I-IV and Physiotherapy. Additionally, she is Webster Technique certified through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Associated (ICPA) and trained as a birth doula through the Doula’s of North America (DONA). She is continuing her education with the ICPA to receive her Pediatric Diplomate.
Dr. Jaclyn’s mission is to promote well being for those in all stages of life, including infancy, childhood, pregnancy, and adulthood. She takes an individualized approach to care for every patient and uses a combination of Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Flexion-distraction, Webster, Craniosacral, and extremity adjusting. Her passion for treating children and expectant mothers has lead her to pursue advanced perinatal and pediatric training. As a certified Webster Technique practitioner, Dr. Jaclyn is specialized to work with women during their pregnancy.
Dr. Jaclyn was born and raised in the Tri Cities of Michigan. In her free time she enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She is thrilled to return to her hometown and serve the community with an open heart.
