Arnold Family Chiropractic is pleased to announce that Dr. Heidi Arnold-Burr, Dr. Meagen Mateialona, Dr. Jenna Woods, & Dr. Sarah Sterling have been hand selected to join Covenant Healthcare Partners, Inc.
Dr. Heidi Arnold-Burr owner of Arnold Family Chiropractic, is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic. She is an Auburn, Michigan native. Dr. Heidi earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the prestigious New York Chiropractic College. She graduated in 2007 and is a member of Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. She is National Board Certified in Parts I, II, III, IV, and Physiotherapy. In 2021 Dr. Heidi became Webster Certified to treat pregnant and postpartum mothers. She is a member of the Michigan Chiropractic Association, Internation Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is a Work Safe Doctor.
After graduation she opened a successful practice in St. Charles, Michigan where she continues to practice today. In 2016 she built a second location in Freeland to expand Chiropractic care within the Saginaw County Region. With her love of people and the community combined with the desire to help others Dr. Heidi was honored with the Business of the Year award in 2009. Dr. Heidi trained in Utica, NY and is experienced in Manipulation under Anesthesia
Dr. Heidi takes pride in treating patients not as a number but as a member of our extended Chiropractic family. This family-focused approach puts the patient first. She creates a safe, positive environment with effective treatment for every member of your family from newborns to seniors. She uses the "whole person" approach addressing not only the spine but the entire musculoskeletal system, including extremities. She works directly with all of the Doctors and our Licensed Massage Therapists to ensure a team approach to the best care possible.
Dr. Heidi will give you the education and tools such as ergonomics and exercises to help you achieve optimal wellness and overcome pain. She utilizes the very best hands on techniques and physiotherapy procedures. Dr. Heidi understands the importance of continuing education and staying current with new techniques and technology. She works closely with several medical specialists in order to provide a more comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach to optimal health.
Our family focused atmosphere continues as her husband Richard Burr is the Office Manager and Insurance Billing Specialist. As a mother of an son, Carter, Dr. Heidi cares greatly about the health and well-being of children. When she is not busy at the office she enjoys spending time with her family and experiencing new adventures.
Dr. Sarah Sterling
Dr. Sarah Sterling was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa and the surrounding Quad Cities area. She received her BA in Cinema and Photography from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale, IL). After seeing and personally benefiting from the effects of chiropractic care, she enrolled in Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, IA). During her time at Palmer College of Chiropractic she joined the American Chiropractic Association, and went to Washington D.C. to advocate for government laws regarding health reform and chiropractic. Her studies then took her to Vietnam for a Clinic Abroad program dedicated to sharing chiropractic care across the globe. She is National Board Certified in Parts I, II, III, I and Physiotherapy. In 2021 Dr. Sarah became Webster Ceritified to help treat pregnant and postpartum mothers.
Dr. Sarah is a compassionate chiropractor and her patients benefit from her specialization in Sacral occipital technique, Thompson, Diversified, Activator techniques and cranial adjusting. She recognizes that each person has individual needs and uses an individualistic approach on what each person needs to get better. Dr. Sarah recognizes how being in pain can disrupt the balance of everyday life for an individual and their family. She will do her absolute best to reinstate that balance, reducing pain as quickly as possible, improving function, helping patients feel better- and doing so in a natural way. Her passion is to continue her lifelong dedication to bring chiropractic care to her community and to teach people how to improve their quality of life.
Dr. Jenna Woods was born and raised in Eastern Iowa. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa in 2019. While taking a human biology course that was taught by a chiropractor, she decided to pursue a career in chiropractic. This led her to Palmer College of Chiropractic (Davenport, IA) where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in February 2023.
Dr. Jenna uses a variety of techniques including Palmer Package (Diversified, Gonstead, and Thompson), Activator, and soft tissue mobilization. She is basic proficiency rated through Activator Methods. Dr. Jenna is also a certified FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation) provider.
During Dr. Jenna’s downtime she enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with her family and cat, Cassie.
